Fashioned by celebrated master blender Sr. Omar Ortez, Exile cigars are offered in either a redish brown EMS or dark brown connecticut broadleaf, both styles producing a medium-full (heavy on the full) bodied smoke. The presentation is top notch with each cigar cloaked in a paper reproduction of the astonishing February 4th, 1962 headline page of the New York Daily Mirror proclaiming President John F. Kennedy’s enactment of the Cuban embargo, and then placed in a 'vault' of a box made of heavy 'antiqued' lumber. The cigars are some of the best leaving Nicaragua today and exspose the connoisseur to a style of cigar clandestinely Cuban in appearance, construction and flavor.
